Many states around the country are in varying states of legalization or decriminalization for psychedelics ranging from psilocybin, to MDMA, to ayahuasca, and more. Some are predicting that MDMA could be legalized for PTSD treatment as soon as 2024, and soon following will be approval for use of psilocybin for the treatment of depression. • Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) is a type of talking therapy. It's based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), but it's specially adapted for people who feel emotions very intensely and as such combines techniques that are reminiscent of buddhist mindfulness practices.

The aim of DBT is to help you:

    • Understand and accept your difficult feelings

    • Learn skills to manage them

    • Become able to make positive changes in your life

‘Dialectical’ means trying to understand how two things that seem opposite could both be true. For example, accepting yourself and changing your behavior might feel contradictory. DBT teaches that it's possible for you to achieve both these goals together.

  • IFS is a transformative tool that conceives of every human being as a system of protective and wounded inner parts led by a core Self. IFS believes the mind is naturally multiple and that is a good thing. Just like members of a family, inner parts are forced from their valuable states into extreme roles within us. Self is in everyone. It can’t be damaged. It knows how to heal.

  • The goal of integrative medicine is to combine aspects of traditional Western medicine with holistic medicine practices to create a personalized treatment option for patients. In my practice, I bring ancient healing and social arts such as yoga, psychedelic medicine, earth based spirituality, and healthy eating, into a western medical model (psychotherapy). I believe they both have much to offer you on your journey.
